Not exactly too descriptive, but that's the point, right? You know, I said I would try to put up some posts more often, but it never seems to work out. Isn't that how life goes, never as you plan it? There have a been a couple of things of note that have taken place since the last time I made a post. I'll talk about the other one later on. So, anyway, I got put on the overnight stock shift at the store I work for. First time I've ever worked a graveyard shift. Since I tend to stay up late anyway, it wasn't so bad, though, it would have been better if I didn't have to work that morning. Oh well. A sixteen hour day isn't so bad, I suppose. I slept quite well; didn't wake up until three this afternoon, of course, I didn't get to sleep until seven this morning (the shift was 10 to 6). The reason I ended up on the shift was due to two individuals stealing and getting fired as a result. The one, Joey, was a good worker. Too bad he did something stupid and had to be let go. Gill on the other hand... well, so long Gill, nice knowing you! Heh heh. I'm sure the man is fun to go drinking with, but he's wasn't much of a worker. I might end up on the shift permanently, which would be nice, since I would get guaranteed hours and a small pay raise. Plus, stocking shifts go by faster than cashier shifts. I do have to wonder what will happen. I might have to talk to my boss, and see what he says. Until then, I'll play it by ear. I had a bit of mess to clean up this morning in the form of the back stock of cereal. It was a big ol' mountain. I only bit into a little. I probably could have devoted the night to it, and barely had time to finish. I had to stock up dog and cat food, too. That was much easier. Well, that's about it for now. I suppose this wasn't that entertaining, but hey, it's something. It's not like my life is a sitcom, after all.
